About this experience
It is a unique experience as it allows our guests to experience Miami from the sea. Miami Bay Tour consists on:
Starting from the luxury Coconut Grove area heading to the impressive Miami Skyline and cruising along Biscayne bay enjoying the stunning views of: Miami River, Celebrity mansions, Miami Beach Coast, dolphins/seabirds,Star Island, Fisher Island, Downtown Miami and Brickell buildings. From there we can go to the Marine Stadium, anchor, and relax, making it an epic afternoon. On the way back we will take a tour towards the remarkable Miami skyline, navigating through the impressive financial district canals (Brickell area), then return to our departure location at low speed with good relaxing music accompanied by good company.
Please note the tour will be be tailored to our customers requirements depending on the number of hours the tour was booked for.
We recommend to get to departure spot 20/25 min before departure time

Planning perspective
How I’d plan this experience
The main decision here isn’t whether to take a boat out; it’s what you want your time on the water to be. I’d choose the two-hour sightseeing trip if you want Miami’s skyline and bay to be the focus. The one-hour ride is explicitly a quick outing, while the three-hour option is for settling in at the sandbar rather than seeing the city. Decide that first, then plan around the extra charges and the breezy, open-water setting.
Match the duration to your plans
The one-hour express ride is for a taste of boating, not a full skyline circuit: its itinerary notes that there isn’t time to reach the skyline. For the city-facing experience, I’d choose two hours, which is described as the full Biscayne Bay tour and includes Brickell and the Downtown skyline. The three-hour trip is a different kind of outing, dedicated to the sandbar; don’t book it expecting a longer sightseeing route.
That distinction matters more than simply adding an hour. If you’re hoping to combine city views with time to relax on the water, the two-hour description is the clearest fit. If you mainly want a leisurely sandbar stop, choose three hours instead.
Who I’d recommend it for
This private outing suits couples, families, or a small group who want their own boat time rather than a shared sightseeing departure. The listed boat seats up to eight, and passengers can bring food and drinks; a complimentary bottle of champagne is included in the option descriptions. That makes it an appealing choice for a celebration or an unhurried outing with your own company, though I’d choose based on the itinerary rather than the champagne.
There’s some flexibility in the described route, including an optional stop at Marine Stadium to anchor and relax, depending on the booked duration and your requirements. I wouldn’t treat that as guaranteed swim time: the specific options distinguish city sightseeing from a sandbar-focused trip.
Budget for the separate charges
One practical wrinkle: the option descriptions list captain and fuel surcharges payable separately from the online booking. The amounts shown are $90 for one hour, $130 for two, and $170 for three. Those are additional charges, not the total trip price, so include them when comparing options. The listed inclusions also mention a cooler with ice and a premium sound system that lets you play your own music; champagne is described as available when requested in the general inclusions, while individual options call it complimentary.
Make arrival and comfort part of the plan
The departure and return point is by Monty’s in Coconut Grove. The guidance recommends arriving 20–25 minutes early; if you still need to finalize the temporary boating ID and waiver, allow 30 minutes. Parking is listed nearby, but the arrival notes recommend rideshare, so I’d leave a little margin either way.
Expect wind once you’re underway: one birthday outing specifically flagged flying hair, making a clip or tie a sensible small preparation. The experience is not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries, despite being listed as suitable for all fitness levels. Bad-weather cancellation is allowed, and a full refund is available when cancelling at least 24 hours ahead.
